Mt. Oliver Cuts
The Mt. Oliver Cuts Program provides qualifying Borough residents with free contracted services for grass cutting. Applications are accepted on a rolling basis. Please note, if you applied and were accepted into the program during a previous year, you do not need to reapply.
Brashear Association
The Brashear Association is the premier community service organization in South Pittsburgh. They provides a spectrum of services to strengthen individuals and families, including immediate, short-term assistance such as food, holiday, and utility assistance.
Sisters Place
Sisters Place has been providing supportive housing and community resources to families experiencing homelessness in the Pittsburgh area for the last 30 years. They relocated operations from Clairton, PA to the Hilltop Area of Pittsburgh in 2020 after identifying it as a community with considerable networks for community resources and services. In addition to providing housing to families in need, Sisters Place offers drop-in informal mental health support, resource connection and referrals, and community events. Stop in every Friday for Free Coffee Friday (10AM-12PM) to learn more about what their organization has to offer.
Neighborworks
Rebuilding Together provides qualifying seniors and veterans with critical home repairs, accessibility modifications, and energy efficient upgrades.
Rebuilding Together Pittsburgh
Neighborworks is a non-profit organization that provides free homebuyer education and financial literacy courses to help individuals and families achieve their dream of homeownership.
