Mt. Oliver Borough Launches Community Clean-Up Event Series
Join Your Neighbors and Help Keep Mt. Oliver Beautiful
Spring is here, and Mt. Oliver Borough is kicking off its annual community-wide clean-up event! On Saturday, April 11 from 9 AM to Noon, residents are invited to meet at the Borough Building for coffee, donuts, and to pick up supplies. This is a great opportunity to connect with neighbors and make a real difference. Sign up and choose your streets by emailing Leah Nimpfer, Code Enforcement Officer, at leah.nimpfer@mtoliver.com or calling 412-728-2413.
But that’s not all—Mt. Oliver is also launching a series of independent clean-up events, perfect for those who want to lend a hand on their own schedule. Mark your calendar for Saturdays: May 9, June 6, July 11, August 8, September 5, and October 3. Pick up supplies at the Borough Building during business hours the week of each event, clean your block at your leisure, and public works will collect the bags Monday morning.
We invite everyone to participate in our “2-2-4” challenge: clean the street and sidewalk two houses to the left, two to the right, and the four across the street from your home. Register for these events by emailing or calling Leah Nimpfer. Share your progress—send photos or tag us—and get entered to win a gift card! Together, we can keep Mt. Oliver clean and beautiful for all.
