The Mt. Oliver Police Department is headed by Chief of Police Matt Juzwick.  It is made up of 10 full-time and 2 part-time officers, as well as a K9-Unit and Drug Task Force.

Fire

Fire service in Mt. Oliver Borough is provided by the Mt. Oliver Volunteer Fire Company (Station 199). The company was founded in 1869 as “Mt. Oliver Hook and Ladder Company” and will soon be celebrating its 150th Anniversary. Station 199 is headed by Fire Chief Fran Kestner and is supported by more than 35 active volunteers.
